Resin is the byproduct of smoking marijuana and sticks to basically any surface that the marijuana is being smoked out of. The resin is composed of a lot of tar, ash, carbon, and cannabinoids that are inherently found in cannabis. Many people say that this is the unhealthiest way to smoke because of the immense amount of tar that you are inhaling. Unfortunately, sometimes there are difficult financial times or they maybe a drought in your neighborhood.
If this occurs, and you want to use your resin it is pretty easy to get medicated off the resin. You just have to put the flame that comes from your lighter and burn the resin that is in your bowl. A good circular motion makes sure your resin burns evenly.
Another way to hit your resin is scrape all of it from your bowl, in to a ball, and hit the ball. Very simple.
Now, we will get in to the different areas where you can find resin. Resin pretty much coats your bowl from top to bottom so you can hit the resin in many different ways. Put your thumb over your bowl; you are going to use your bowl as the shot gun. Now put your flame up to the shot gun and take a hit while keeping the flame lit. If you do this correctly the flame will light everything underneath and around your bowl. There are mass amounts of resin reserves in this area.
Now you can use the shotgun as a mouth piece. Keep your thumb on top of the bowl and put your flame by the mouth piece that you would normally use to hit the bowl. There is resin here too.
WARNING: Taking resin hits can heat up your bowl extremely quickly. The bowl can burn you, so let it cool if you are hitting it vigorously.
just want to add a few things. Use a paper clip with a small 90 degree bend to use to scrape the inside. If you live in a metro area you can probably find a flat metal bar on the street or parking lots. they come from the street sweepers and are every, just require an eye to spot em. put a small bend in the end and use this to “sweep” the inside of your bowl. This will cut your scraping time IN HALF and DOUBLE your time smoking!
Also, there is some information that was neglected to be included with this article. If you are smoking resin from your pipe, LET IT COOL DOWN before you hit it again. Resin burns at a much higer temp than ganja does. Your bowl will have air bubbles in the glass (not always visible with naked eye), when these air pockets heat up they expand and can crack your pipe so let it cool down before you pass it off or decide to rip it again

I have this small flathead screwdriver that was made for glasses that works PERFECTLY. Smoking resin feels just as euphoric as weed for me. I know this because i smoked resin and got really high then wondered what i just smoked so i looked it up and ended up here 😉
I use bobby pins or unraveled paper clips. bendable but hard to break the bowl with so works great for me!
can resin be refined and resold ( oil) a pipe should b made to refine this oil . tare free n pocket lint free. we need a no stick surface to prevent build up or services to help heads refine this oil.
I have hit hard times and a dry spell but these resin balls I got outta my pipe are just fine..Thank goodness for resin! My metal pipe had resin pouring out of the end of it so that was my q to clean it out and so glad I did now..

Just wanted to say .What I do with my Reason is I collect it along with the kief I get while I grind my product and mix the too that gives me what I call reaf balls which gives me about 8 to 10 reaf balls

if you take all the “dust” that accumulates in your grinder and mix it with this sticky shit it will improve the taste 10 fold, and make it easier to handle.
