A study led by Dr. Anita Holdcroft, and researchers from Imperial College in London, was conducted on 65 patients who had previously undergone surgery.  These patients were given Cannador, a cannabis plant extract that provides pain relief.  As the dose increased, patients reported less pain intensity but also more side effects including nausea and increased heart rate.  Researchers concluded that Cannador can be effective with minimal side effects at low doses.
