There are a few reasons why I only smoke the high quality marijuana even though it is considerably more expensive. The first and most important reason is it is healthier to smoke more potent marijuana. If you get past the propaganda that often relates more potency to more danger, you will realize that you can smoke much less to achieve an equivalent high to mid grade marijuana. This allows you to smoke substantially less plant material and more of the active chemicals. Plant parts emit a substantial amount of CO2 when burned and that is no doubt unhealthy for you no matter which way you spin it.
Secondly, high quality marijuana customarily is a result of years of refined techniques in breeding and curing. Not only does the potency go up, but the smell and taste are tremendously more appealing. The best comparison I can make is to wine. Each vineyard and winery has a distinct way of fermenting their win and every harvest and crop comes out with a different wine. Wineries with advanced techniques and fermenting processes fetch the highest prices, as do cannabis farmers who grow some of the highest quality herb and cured in a distinct way.
Thirdly, as vain as it sounds unless you live in a medical marijuana state, having high quality stuff is always brag worthy. Anyone with some of the dankest bud gets allowed bragging rights for having the dankest dank you ever stank. Plus, cannabis culture dictates sharing above any other recreational activity so everyone gets a toke of the good stuff.
